Bangladesh says accession discussions are progressing positively
Bangladesh's State Minister for Foreign Affairs Humaiun Kobir said Dhaka saw no inherent risk in joining the Mecca Defence Pact and that discussions with bilateral partners were progressing positively. The statement moved Bangladesh beyond general interest toward a more active policy discussion.
