Hakan Fidan describes a new regional security and cooperation architecture

After the first Strategic Political and Defence Committee meeting in Istanbul, Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan said the pact had begun testing a new regional security and cooperation architecture. He said the alliance would be institutionalised, remain complementary to Türkiye's existing NATO commitments, and develop an accession roadmap while first strengthening its founding institutions.
