Saudi air defence intercepts Houthi drone south of Makkah
Saudi air defences intercepted and destroyed a drone south of Makkah before it entered the holy city's prohibited airspace. The coalition described the incident as the second attempt to target Makkah since 2017 and said protection of the Two Holy Mosques and pilgrims was a red line.
