Türkiye Defence Ministry links Houthi threat to Red Sea and alliance security
Türkiye's Defence Ministry condemned attacks on Saudi Arabia and said the continuing Houthi threat in the Red Sea and Bab el-Mandeb affects regional security, international maritime trade and global stability. The ministry also reiterated that the Makkah Defence Alliance is based on collective deterrence and is being developed through joint planning, training, exercises, interoperability and defence-industry cooperation.
