Fidan says institutionalisation should precede enlargement
Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan said Türkiye, Saudi Arabia and Pakistan have a roadmap for the Makkah Alliance and that other countries want to join, but enlargement should follow institutionalisation. He described the pact as an institutional foundation for regional ownership and said the founders first need to make the arrangement work before opening it more widely.
