Fidan defines Türkiye’s defensive support role under the Makkah Alliance
Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan described the Makkah agreement as defensive, said military authorities were assessing support for Saudi Arabia including air defence, electronic warfare and technical assistance, ruled out sending Turkish forces into another country to conduct attacks, and said work to submit the agreement for parliamentary approval was largely complete.
