Pakistan clarifies Makkah Alliance forces will defend Saudi territory, not operate inside Yemen
Pakistan’s Foreign Office said the Makkah Alliance is a defensive arrangement and that forces operating under it would not cross into Yemen to launch attacks. It also said Pakistan already has a substantial number of forces and resources in Saudi Arabia and that the three founders have agreed to mobilise resources rapidly under the 5 October decisions.
